Dutch Star Diesel Pushers Available in 38, 40 and 43 ft. Lengths

The 2024 Newmar Dutch Star diesel pusher is now offered in a new 38 ft. length while retaining its 40 and 43 ft. floor plans.  The Freightliner® XCR Chassis continues as the standard chassis with a 60-degree wheel cut - the industry’s tightest turning radius.  An optional upgrade and commensurate price adjustment is available with a Spartan® K2 Chassis.  All 2024 Dutch Stars have Newmar’s popular Comfort Drive™ Steering System which provides driver-friendly benefits like “auto-centering” after a 90-degree turn, as well as uneven road and wind resistance steering compensation for better handling and less driver fatigue. The 40 and 43 ft. RVs have Passive Steer technology.  The extension of the former 37 ft. floor plans to the new 38 ft. configuration provides greater basement storage capacity by creating a full pass-through storage compartment.   As standard equipment, all 2024 Dutch Stars offer the Mobil Eye Lane Tracking and Lane Departure Warning System to keep you squarely on the highway, while the Tire Pressure Monitoring System keeps you rolling with proper levels for safe and smooth travel.  All 2024 Dutch Star motorhomes are equipped with the Cummins 9L 450HP diesel engine.

Dutch Star presented in four all new Full-Masterpiece Finish™ Paint Schemes

This year’s Dutch Star is presented in four all new Full-Masterpiece Finish paint schemes, each with Clearcoat Finish and Diamond Shield on the front cap.  The four exterior paint schemes for 2024 include, “Corby,” “Kettering,” “Lindsey,” and “Preston.”  Select a color and paint design to reflect your personality as you travel America’s highways in your well-appointed Newmar diesel pusher.

INTERIOR DECORATIONS

Four interior décors are offered in the 2024 Dutch Star including “Alora” and “Bayshore” which are being carried over from 2023.  Two new interior decors entitled “Catalina” and “Stratton” are being introduced in 2024.   The interior features a new Villa Comfort Fit furniture fabric, new floor tile, super polished solid surface countertops.  Additional interior design features include kitchen and bath area backsplashes, countertop edge design, bedding, window treatments, shower inserts, artwork, dash panel and skirt colors, and interior door handles.

WOOD DESIGN

Newmar’s accomplished and skilled old-world craftsmen have handmade the beautiful cabinetry found in the popular Dutch Star floor plans.  Rich maple hardwoods are complemented by neatly appointed hardware which provides the Dutch Star cabinets with a contemporary and distinctive appearance.  Four wood finishes are available in the 2024 Dutch Star. They include “Bermuda Glazed Maple,” “Driftwood Glazed Maple,” “Glacier Glazed Maple,” and “Toffee Glazed Maple.”  Each of these attractive hardwoods is available in either “High Gloss” or “Matte Finish.”

New Highlights for 2024 for the Dutch Star by Newmar


Here are some highlights of new features, upgrades, and options for Newmar’s 2024 Dutch Star diesel pusher.  It features an expansion of the 37 ft. floor plans by 12” to create two new 2024 38 ft. floor plans.  Eight Dutch Star floor plans have been retained for 2024. 
 
  • The new 3817 floor plan for 2024 provides an additional 12” in length. This expansion gives extra space in the kitchen and pantry on the passenger’s side, and the bathroom and dining area on the driver’s side.
  • The new 3836 floor plan for 2024 provides an additional 12” in length was assigned to the master bedroom and gives this floor plan a king bed as a standard feature.
  • The 4311 wheelchair accessible floor plan will come standard with a fireplace and TV on a “televator” power lift behind the passenger’s cockpit seat.
  • The following Dutch Star floor plans (3836, 4310 and 4326) for 2024 have enlarged 50” X 30” rectangular showers.
  • A 3rd air conditioner with heat pump is now standard on 40 ft. models for 2024. These 40 ft. models will still provide an 8.0kW generator. The 3rd air conditioner with heat pump will ONLY operate when the Dutch Star is plugged into 50 AMP electrical service.
  • The new 38 ft. Dutch Stars have a 254” wheelbase which has an extra foot in length. This also opens up a full pass-through storage compartment.
  • The new 38 ft. length floor plans will have a 17,000 GAWR front axle weight rating whether it is on the standard Freightliner XCR or the Spartan K2 chassis.
  • The optional Spartan K2 chassis will be equipped with Koni brand shock absorbers.
  • The 2024 Dutch Stars have four new exterior graphic designs in four unique color combinations.
  • The “Alora” and “Bayshore” interior designs have been continued for 2024 Dutch Stars. Two new interiors are presented with “Catalina” and “Stratton” designs.
  • A new matte floor tile is offered for the 2024 model year.
  • A new furniture fabric material is being introduced on the Villa Comfort fit product. Also, new material is found in the feature ceiling product.
  • The charging port in the dash area provides both USB and USB-C connections.
  • For 2024, the Oasis Chinook Dual Loop heating and hot water system can be controlled through the 10.1 KIB screen.
  • The 2024 Dutch Star is now an all-electric motorhome as a standard feature.
  • The in-dash Xite monitors for 2024 will be housed under a single piece of glass. There will still be two separate monitors, but it will provide a sleeker and cleaner appearance.
 
 
Option Changes
 
  • The optional Winegard Traveler satellite dish will provide an automatic stow feature. The dish will automatically stow whenever the parking brake is released.
  • A second inverter has been added to the option for the Lithium-Ion Battery System. This 2nd inverter will run the front air conditioner without the coach being connected to shore power or running on a generator.
  • There is an option to add a 3rd Lithium Battery (960 total AHR) for the 2024 model year.
  • A remote reset switch for the Lithium Battery System has been added to the overhead cabinet. This feature should NOT be used in place of the battery disconnect.
  • There is a living room theater seating option for the new 3817 and 3836 floor plans.

The haptic vibration found as part of the driver’s seat with the well-regarded Mobil Eye Land Tracking and Departure Warning System continues to be a standard feature setting the Dutch Star apart from the competition.  The lengthening of the Dutch Star’s traditional 37 ft. floor plans to the new 38 ft. plan configurations provides a full pass-through basement storage compartment.

2024 DUTCH STAR SPECIFICATIONS

Dutch Star is supported by our STAR Foundation, which improves strength and durability while providing a quieter and more stable ride than any other Class A coach. A 450-horsepower diesel engine and Comfort Drive™ adaptive steering come standard.
In addition, the 2024 Dutch Star is fitted with a cargo liner, 5/8” floor decking, 5/8” bead foam, and galvanized sheeting to prevent distortion.
