What to Expect on Your Orientation and Delivery Day
Independence RV Provides Orientation
for Purchased RVs
Full-time RVers will require fewer hours to become acquainted with their purchased vehicles. However, the amount of time required in the Independence RV business office will remain the same.
What to Expect on RV Delivery Day
The day you pick-up your RV is always an exciting one. This is termed, “Delivery Day,” it is your RV orientation or your intro to RV. Delivery encompasses approximately 30-60 minutes with the Independence RV Business Manager in order to complete all of the necessary paperwork to assist you with key documents for tag/vehicle registration, as well as tax collection.
Aditionally, Independence RV offers a personalized presentation of your Newmar RV or other RV manufacturer brands with one of our on-staff Delivery Coordinators. If you are a “first-time RVer,” please budget the following time increments based on the type of recreational vehicle purchased:
Travel trailer or Fifth-Wheel - 1 ½ hours
Class A or Class C gas-powered motorhome - 2 hours
Most Class A diesel pushers - 4 hours
Newmar Mountain Aire diesel pusher - 6 hours
Reviewing Your New RV
Most Delivery Day presentations start outside the recreational vehicle's doorway on the passenger's side, and proceed around the RV from the rear cap up along the driver's side, around the front cap and back the passenger's door. Once all exterior systems have been reviewed, you will begin inside the RV working your way through the cockpit with keen interest spent on selected operating systems to make your RV lifestyle safer and more enjoyable. Finally, you will visit the Independence RV Parts and Accessories Store. You'll learn about genuine Newmar Parts and Certified Newmar Service Technicians to keep your recreational vehicle operating at peak performance.
