New Canyon Star Class A Front End Diesel Motorhomes

The new 2023 Newmar Canyon Star Luxury Class A front end diesel motorhome is available in a “Garage Only” 37 to 39 ft. floor plan. The Canyon Star is exclusively built on a Freightliner MC 30,000 lbs. chassis. All 2023 Canyon Stars are equipped with a Cummins B6.7 Liter 340HP front end diesel engine. The Allison 2500MH 6-Speed automatic transmission complements the powertrain. The Canyon Star motorhome offers a one-piece molded fiberglass roof, 5/8” foam and hung fiberglass batten insulation in the sidewalls and ceiling as standard. Home construction techniques like vertical studs every 16” on-center are found in aluminum-frame sidewalls and roof construction with Gel coated fiberglass exterior sidewalls, front and rear caps.
Canyon Star presented in three Full-Masterpiece Finish™ Paint Schemes
The 2023 Canyon Star is presented in three Full-Masterpiece Finish paint schemes, each with Clearcoat finish. The full complement of exterior color schemes includes “Bellona,” “Moab,” and “Hyannis.” The “Hyannis” name has been retained for 2023, but the design and color palette has been modified. Both “Bellona” and “Moab” are completely new for this Canyon Star RV.

- The 2023 Newmar Canyon Star is presented in three new “Garage Only” floor plans.
- A new eight-foot (8’) garage with rear ramp door (does not have the “hump” traditionally found on 10’ Canyon Star floor plans. This new garage length and feature is found on the all-new (3737) and (3957) floor plans.
- Two new Full-Masterpiece Finish paint schemes and designs (“Bellona” and “Moab”) are available in 2023. “Hyannis” has been retained for the new model year.
- In response to customer requests for brighter headlights, new Silverstar ultra headlight bulbs are featured for high and low beam lighting.
- Two new interior decors (“Bellona” and “Moab”) are being introduced in 2023, while “Hyannis” remains in the new model year lineup.
- Trauma Aqua Go continuous hot water heater is standard in the 2023 Canyon Star.
- Apple Car Play will be a standard feature.
- The dash radio, cameras and monitors will power up from both the house and ignition systems.
- A new 10.1” central monitor panel will control the interior lighting and HVAC controls. This new panel will be located in an exposed location near the middle of each floor plan. The exact location will vary by floor plan.
Option Changes
- A new optional powered rear ramp door is available “only” on the 3947 floor plan with 10’ garage.
- A new Wi-Fi Ranger “Everest” system (option J347) with “Aspen” Wi-Fi router is the option for internet access for 2023.
- For 2023, a new wood option, “Amaretto Glazed Maple” wrap is offered, as is the hardwood “Toffee Glazed Maple” wood treatment.
- A 2000-Watt inverter with six (6) 6-Volt batteries is a new option (L260) This option includes receptacles and access ports for the C-PAP prep in the bedroom.
- New furniture for the 2023 Canyon Star includes a new “incliner sofa” in 74” length. This new “incliner” is available on all three Canyon Star floor plans in the new model year.
- On the two 8’ garage models (3737 and 3957), the optional dual electric bunk option will be 42” wide due to the shorter length garage in each model. The width of the same option in the 3947 floor plan with 10’ garage will remain at 62” wide.
- The options for Whirlpool 11 cu. ft. refrigerators with (J215) and without (J205) icemaker will include a 2000-Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter with six (6) batteries and includes the receptacles and access ports for C-PAP prep in the bedroom.

All Newmar Canyon Star Class A front-end diesel motorhomes come standard with a rear garage providing a well-designed and equipped home away from home. With Williamsburg furniture, it’s easy to get some rest and relaxation after a long day adventuring. Custom wall sconces and luxury vinyl tile flooring are throughout the coach. The kitchen makes refueling easy—and is fun and fashionable with a choice of wrapped or hardwood cabinets featuring soft-close drawers and hinges. The appliance suite includes a 30” Convection Stainless Steel Microwave with Tri-Burner Gas Cooktop and Piezo Ignition. Dual 13.5M Penguin™ air conditioners are standard with 15M units available as an optional upgrade on select floor plans.

In addition, every Canyon Star is built on a Freightliner® MC Chassis. A 340 horsepower Cummins “B” diesel engine comes standard.
