The 2022 Newmar New Aire is a compact, but robust luxury diesel pusher. It has been transformed with a planned life cycle change, which includes redesigned front and rear caps, new exterior and interior color schemes, new “rift” wood treatments, and a slightly taller slide-out. Based upon market preference the 2022 New Aire model has retained three unique 35 ft. floor plans. The standard vehicle chassis is the Freightliner® XCS. A Spartan® K2 is available as an optional upgrade. All 2022 New Aires have Newmar’s popular Comfort Drive™ Steering System which provides driver-friendly benefits like “auto-centering” after a 90-degree turn, as well as uneven road and wind resistance steering compensation. This improves handling while reducing driver fatigue. The 2022 New Aires are powered by the Cummins® 9L 450HP diesel engine. This Class A diesel motorhome offers a side draft radiator to facilitate cool air for the engine. All New Aires feature Independent Front Suspension, OnGuard™ Collision Mitigation and Adaptive Cruise Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and electronic stability control. New and standard equipment for the 2022 New Aire luxury motorhome is the Mobile Eye Lane Tracking and Lane Departure Warning System. 
New Aire presented in four Full-Masterpiece Finish™ Paint Schemes
The all-new 2022 New Aire is presented in four Full-Masterpiece Finish™ paint schemes, each with Clearcoat Finish and Diamond Shield Protection on the front cap. The four new exterior paint colors are “Berkley,” “Kingsley,” “Remmy” and “Sparta.” Pick a color for your well-appointed luxury diesel motorhome.

New Highlights for 2022 to Improve the New Aire by Newmar
Here are some highlights of new features, upgrades, and options for Newmar’s 2022 New Aire.
- Four new exterior Full Masterpiece Finish™ paint schemes and colors.
- New front and rear cap designs featuring an illuminated Newmar badge in the front grille, plus additional LED lighting on the front cap.
- The secondary egress door located in the mid-bath features a new bonded non-opening window.
- Mobile Eye Lane Tracking and Lane Departure Warning System is a standard feature.
- The Cummins L9 diesel engine has been slightly modified to meet the new emission standards for 2022.
- The glass dash on the Freightliner chassis has been slightly redesigned. Rotary knobs on the dash adjust the dual zone climate control.
- The standard Freightliner XCS Chassis has a new Valor Tire Monitoring System. The optional Spartan K2 Chassis offers the Valor Tire Monitoring System as an optional upgrade.
- The 2022 New Aire features a new 10” Xite dash monitor system with Nav-N-Go Navigation System which replaces the Rand McNally Navigation as it no longer supports RV applications.
- New cabinet doors, crown and base molding designs, plus new door and drawer hardware are presented in this life cycle change.
- The cockpit seats and furniture designs by Nappanee’s Williamsburg Furniture, Inc. The cockpit’s passenger seat is as equally wide as the driver’s seat with a new option for a wider seat. New furniture styling is presented with standard sofa, optional recliners, and theater seats.
- The driver’s seat has haptic vibration as a standard feedback from the Mobile Eye System.
- The 2022 New Aire has a new dinette chair design.
- Newly designed slide-out facias and decorative ceilings are standard with the decorative featured ceiling also evidenced in the bedroom.
- The sliding frosted panels at the head of the bed have been removed and a new headboard design has been introduced for this life cycle change. A narrow rectangular window is now above the headboard.
- Bedroom cabinetry opposite the bed takes on the classic 2021 King Aire appearance, including the attractive bedroom television built flush into the cabinetry.
- The window at the foot of the bed will be an egress window.
- The windows in the 2022 New Aire will be bonded.
- The kitchen window will be taller, as will the entry door window.
- Pocket and bathroom doors have a new style.
- The height of the bottom of the kitchen cabinets has been raised to 18.5” above the kitchen countertop, resulting in a slightly larger backsplash.
- Larger windows are provided in the slide-room and end walls, which both meet at a structural post in the corner of the slide-out. End windows will be non-opening; window framing will use square corners - similar to the 2021 King Aire. These slide-rooms will be 1.25” taller in 2022.
- New plumbing fixtures including new kitchen and bathroom faucets, as well as a new shower system with a hand wand are part of the 2022 life cycle update.
- A new custom-made sink is featured in the main bath area, and the shower surround provides new shower tile, shower floor and wall inserts.
- The galley features a new round black stainless-steel sink.
- A new Samsung microwave is now a standard feature. This appliance brand will match the brand of refrigerator and televisions used throughout the New Aire line. This feature-ladened microwave is similar in features to the GE Advantium microwave appliance.
- A new App will allow remote control of numerous features from a personal device, i.e.: Apple or Android. This local application requires the user to be within range to operate the coach’s Wi-Fi system, climate control, tank levels, AC and DC power system status, water pump, auto tank fill, entry and baggage compartment locks, interior main group lighting controls including dimming, security lights, and group window shade controls. This new App supplements many of the same functions available on the internal Silverleaf panel.
- LED strip lighting has been added inside all wardrobes (including shirt wardrobes) with automatic switches.
- The 110-volt receptacles in the bedroom have been relocated to inside the nightstand just like those on the King Aire.
- KIB switch panels will now feature an LCD touch screen display.
- An “all lights off” function has been added to the KIB switch panel in the bedroom to replace the individual turning “off” of light switches.
- The standard hydronic Chinook heater on the Oasis System changes to a dual loop Chinook System.
- The Winegard® Ranger Wi-Fi option has been retained for 2022, but the Winegard cellular in-motion option is no longer available.
- An option for two ottomans is available in the new model year.
- A new option for a wider passenger’s seat is available.
- The Bose® Solo 5 sound bar is being replaced by the manufacturer for a new Bose sound bar, this new Bose sound bar is also featured in the optional exterior entertainment center.
- There is a new option available for a theater seat and expandable two-person dinette on the New Aire model 3543 only.
- New options are available for three armless Girard® power window awnings, Girard slide-out toppers and entry door awnings. These new options include wind sensors and LED lights at the lead rails.
- An option for two Girard Nova side awnings is available in lieu of the standard G2000 model awnings.
2022 NEW AIRE FEATURE LIST
The New Aire is perfectly appointed for a small family accustomed to traveling in style. The sofa can make into a bed for guests, or optionally upgrade to a pair of theater seats or recliners to make your New Aire into a couples coach. Your Newmar compact luxury diesel pusher is suitable for four-seasons travel. Dual Penguin™ air conditioners with heat pumps are supplemented on chilly mornings with the dual loop Chinook heating system. All New Aires offer a pillowtop king-size bed as standard, but the optionally available Sleep Number® R5 Radius adjustable air mattress provides maximum comfort and a good nights’ sleep. Samsung® appliances and televisions enhance the living environment with the assistance of the new Bose sound bar for maximum sound enjoyment.
